Channeling Fall

Although there are still a few weeks of summer left, with the cool weather we have been having here in central PA, I am ready to think about what I am looking forward to this fall.

Since winter means less time outside, I'm thinking it might be fun to make Sommer a little  cardboard city this fall.

We'll be moving into a new place soon and I'm going to want to cozy it up for the upcoming cooler months.  I am always willing to add a cozy blanket to my collection.

I just might start knitting again this fall.  Knitting appeals to me so much more when the temperatures start to drop yet I always struggle to complete a project.  Maybe this will be my year. :o)

In September I usually start to enjoy pumpkin as much as I can.  These pumpkin pecan desserts look so delicious and would be fun to share with friends!

I'm hoping to add something new and cute to my closet this autumn and this cute ensemble would definitely fit the bill!

I am also really hoping that we can find a weekend to take Sommer to visit the Philadelphia Zoo this year.  She loves animals and I am sure she would just be so happy to spend a day there.
Do you have any special plans for this fall?

  1. I love fall! Cute pictures of great ideas. Props to you for even knowing how to knit- I sure don't.

This fall we are doing a little traveling, which is nice because we didn't do any this summer. We are camping with friends in Gettysburg in Sep and in Oct, Behn and I are taking our first kid-less trip since we've become parents- we are going to Boston! Never been there and we are really looking forward to it!

    1. Megan, your travels sound wonderful! We love Gettysburg - remember when we met there for dinner?! We have family in Boston and love it up there too. I'm sure you guys will have a great time! And the fall is definitely the time to travel to New England. :)
