children's books

We take a weekly trip to our local library for storytime followed by an hour or more spent browsing and playing in the children's area.  It is one of my favorite times of the week and I think it's one of Sommer's favorites too.  Each week, we try to pick out some new books to read but often times we end up grabbing a favorite or two as well.  I wanted to share a few of our current faves with you today and find out if you have any suggestions for us!

^This is a new one to us this past week but we read it every night before bed if not more.  It is sweet and fun to read.

^We love the Llama Llama books!  As long as there is one on the shelf when we are at the library, we take one home with us.  The stories are very true to life and have really sparked conversations between Sommer and I about different things.

^This is also new to us this week.   We have enjoyed walking through the seasons and finding all the different creatures that adorn each page!'

^I love Sandra Boynton!  We own several of these little board books but they seem to be endless!  I love happening upon one of her books that we have yet to read.  They are always quick, rhyming and fun books.

^These Bear books are Matt's personal favorite.  We also own a couple of these but found a bunch more one morning at the library.  Great and fun reads!

What are your favorite children's books currently?
